On Feb 9th, 2006 Fishbone will headline the Unity Shows benefit concert at the Avalon Holywood in LA (check tour dates section for more details). Unity Shows is a Not-for-Profit organization that raises funds from local corporations and perhaps not so local corporations to put on great concerts and raise money for youth centers around the world, in memory of John Obray. John Obray, killed in a car accident on April 30, 2004 in Fairmont, MN was a 23 year old trying to make a difference in southern Minnesota, by pushing an idea about opening a youth center. One the kids would love to hang out at and would give kids with nothing to do, something to fill the voids. The idea was really to keep kids on the right track, away from illegal and/or abusive activities. The plan is to open this center, and hopefully more like it around the nation.
