I'm usually at the gig to take photos, or a client will holla at me to take band photos for a magazine.
Most of the time I dig the band or artist and have been exposed to there music which makes my job easier.
As of late I've been interviewing a lot of bands, it's a nice change of pace.
When Okayplayer.com the home of The Roots on-line community recently approached me about interviewing Fishbone, I jumped at the chance. Being a long time fan and wanting to spread the gospel, I said yea, let's do this!
