Sorry must be a mistake.... Hotpoint festival happened in Spring !!! Would have been freezing on that date under the tent....

Looking for the first gig in Lausanne which was, am sure, in the Dolce Vita !!! and was before Hotpoint and Montreux 31.12.88 !!! I had the chance to enjoy the 3 gigs !!!!

Anyone to clear me on that one ???

I was at this show !

I had just turned 16 and my dad took me to see Linton Kwesi Johnson at the Hot Point Festival. Just before, there was this band, Fishbone, which I had never heard of ... Their performance blew me away! I instantly became a big fan! I bought "Truth And Soul" just a few days after this concert.

The crunchy anecdote about this show is that half of LKJ's group was stuck at the Swiss border by the immigration services, unable to perform the show, and it's our guys from Fishbone who played the acting ones that night, and in a wonderful way ... Memorable concert.
