Babyhead covered it, albeit in more colorfully colloquial language than i would have used. El Pus and Living in Question got the crowd warmed up, and by the time Fishbone took the stage we were all fiendin' for our fishbone fix.
Form then on...what can I say? Every note of every song was, to quote Chris quoting someone else: "tighter than a mosquito's ass."
This was athe first fishbone show for me, despite many years of fanatic fandom, and it was also the first show for my wife. I have seen so many shows by so many bands that it gets hard to count, but Fishbone at Smith's Olde Bar was the absolute undisputed number one. No question.
I can't wait for the April 29th 2005 show here in the ATL!!!

Nuttmegalious...
The place was slammin'. Moore and crew brought the old stuff back on stage and put that shitz down. Dre on the keys, Rocky and Torrel, and Pastor Dre filling in on the back like he grew up with the nuttmeg in his soda. I loved this show. With each song my mouth would drop in disbelief, "I can't believe they are playing this song"...it was the ultimate set.
