Fishbone no longer on Primus tour

Primus announced today that Fishbone would no longer be joining them this summer on the 10 opening slots where they were planned. Fishbone hinted that this was not their decision, but a result of the dispute over the use of the Fishbone name between Angelo, Chris and Norwood. This might not constitute a valid reason to get a refund, but Fishbone has stated they would try helping those who wish to be refunded. 

Lineup changes announced

Fishbone announced today that lineup changes were to be expected for the upcoming Fishbone shows. John Steward later confirmed that Norwood Fisher, Dirty Walt Kibby and himself were out of the band. Fishbone's Angelo Moore on a West Coast Tour this February

This is the first time that Angelo will perform under the alias Fishbone's Angelo Moore.  Rumor has it that Fishbone songs will be included in the set, alongside Dr Madd Vibe classics like Jah Jah on the Telephone or Revolutionary Girl. 

His backing band is the Missing Links. The west coast tour starts on Thursday February 8th. Expect more dates in the spring on the east coast.

Truth and Sword tour with GZA postponed

Fishbone just announced the postponement to *spring 2024" of their East Coast November tour with Wu Tang Clan's GZA. Fishbone cites "unavoidable circumstances" and promise ro deliver the best show possible in the spring. 

As usual, tickets will stay valid for the rescheduled dates, when they are known or can be refunded at the point of purchase

Initially, Fishbone.net was built in the late 90's by Dave "MadPunk" Willis and gifted to the band.

Limited reissue of 1985 EP

On the 38th anniversary of its release, Fishbone announced the reissue of its debut self-titled EP as a double vinyl. It's not yet clear what the contents of the second vinyl will be but we'll keep you posted, as always! 

This reissue comes as Fishbone has recovered the publishing rights to their back catalogue and should be the first in a series.
