Good gig in Geneva !

A pity that the horns were really low in volume during the first half of the performance (who checked the sound ???).

Bass and drum were great ! As well as vocal performances of Angelo (who's better ???).

"Last but not least" remark : the band was pretty slow to link songs during the gig. That lowered the intensity of its performance.

See ya in CH !!

Just purrrfect. Thought I prefered the gig at the Undertown.

Hi soldiers,

a short review of the great show in Geneva.

The show was in a beautiful park near the lakeside. A very professional stage has been installed and twice a week there are free concerts of all kind.

So last Friday was Fishbone... There was a lot more people than I expected, and I guess there was about 2'000 people... A lot of families and curious, I spotted one or two Fishbone T-shirts...

The show began with a too long poem by Dr Madd Vibe... (Maybe he should do only short speaches or avoid them in non english speaking countries as most people don't understand...) But soon after the show was on with "Unyelding conditionning"...

It doesn't seemed to have a written setlist this time, but they were like discussing during each break what will be the next song... A good setlist with the habitual songs plus some nice additions I haven't heard for long like a medley of "V.T.T.L.O.T.F.D.G.F." and "Ugly", "Those Days Are Gone".
Like in Estavayer there were no "Bonin", did they play it during this tour ?

The show was very fun and a very good vibe was coming from the audience. Angelo walked in the crowd for a moment as he couldn't surf... (That was a shame because there were so
many people...) Everybody was very tight and I didn't saw Norwood so fit since a long time... He was singing a lot more than usual and sounded awesome on the bass. Dre was very cool and I liked a lot his smalll intros on the keys... Mc Knight and the trumpet player were really enjoying themselves and had a good time together (And I definitely prefer this
trumpeter, he's got some really heavier and more powerfull riffs) Wet Daddy was tight and talked a lot to the crowd between the songs...

The show ended at 22:30 because of the organisation but people were ready for a lot more... A lot of people bought t-shirts and CDs at the end, so a lot of converted who will wait for the next album.

I talked a bit with Laurent from Wolfundkind and he said that they will be in Europe from mid-june until end of July next year and probably in October again... The guys weren't too much hanging around exept Dre that was chased by some girls. We just saw briefly Angelo near the bus and talked a bit about the tour which he seemed to enjoy a lot despite having hurt his knees again...

A wonderfull show and easily the best one since the one for my birthday three years ago...

Nico.
