The best Fishbone show I have seen in years. Love the (not so new) lineup especially the trombone player. Fishbone are always better with more horns and brass than guitars. Too many guitars = too much metal, not enough funk or ska. Loving Norwood's lovely new bass with wobbly FX. More energy than the last couple of times I have seen Fishbone, very good to see. Nice mix of old and new tunes. Loved the reggae mashup early in the set featuring Rubadub Soldier and more. The only issue is one with the venue, who seemed to insist that Fishbone cut their set short. Too many support bands maybe? International Ska Festival trying to squeeze too many acts on.
