I remember this show--it was $5 to get in and The Judy Bats did open for the Nutts. Everyone was wanting to see the Nutts, so after a while, people started booing.
When Fishbone finally showed up, Angelo said they'd just come from Jersey, at the Lollapolooza show at Waterloo Village.
He announced they were going to shoot the video for "Servitude," and they were going to lipsync the song. The music started, they acted like they were playing, then Angelo called out for the music to stop, and said "Fuck it, let's play it live!" They went right into it, and the fucking place went ballistic. It was unreal. I'll never forget that show.
I did not finally see the finished product until last week, when I bought the video on iTunes. Awesome stuff. It's wild that I had to wait 12 years to see a video where I was actually at the shoot!! I interned at MTV in '95 and could not find the video in the tape library!!
I was at this video shoot / concert. You had to buy a ticket for the Judybats show with King Missile as the opening act. If you stuck around after that, you got to see Fishbone who had just performed their set at Lollapolooza in NJ. They performed Servitude for the video shoot and then proceeded to play a full set with members of Primus, Alice in Chains and Arrested Development, all of whom were also on Lollapolooza '93, contributing to the set, albeit minorly. The set ran long and ended only because the Limelight literally cut off the power after several warnings to the band that they needed to stop playing.?

My ticket stub says Fishbone opened for The Judy Bats. I don't thnk I stuck around for the Judy Bats, anyway from what I can remember, they shot a video at this, possibly black flowers. jerry cantrell from AIC guested for a tune, can't remeber which song though.
You don't have Kendell in this line-up but I remember him being there.
