The Montreal show was fantastic. Angelo was supposed to be DJing, but he ran off to get his sax fixed and left me in the booth by myself. It was scary and fun, as I have never worked DJ controls before. Unfortunately, a song was playing when the first opening act came out, and it took me a long 2 minutes almost to snap to attention and turn down the music so he could play. Oh well. It was DOA's last date with the tour. Ronnie from RACE happened to be in the audience. He is so fantastic (he's from Trinidad, you know!). Angelo plays RACE before almost every show when he DJs. (My favorite is "IT WAS YOU!") Anyway, during Party At Ground Zero, Angelo brought Ronnie up on stage to sing the Drop the Bomb/Raise the Roof parts. Ronnie sang it in French and did this wild Cab Calloway type dance. He was so charasmatic...really he was fantastic. Later on, he came onto the bus and then he, Angelo and Norwood got into a long extended mutual admiration society...."If it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't be singing...you guys are amazing....I love you"...."Man, I play RACE before every show man, you are so amazing...I love you...when are you gonna get RACE back together?"....."I will get RACE back together if you play a gig with us, for that I will get them together myself!...I love you". It was all very funny and cute...you had to be there to see them gushing all over each other.

The show was simply amazing. The guys were in top shape they even invited a singer from a local band named Race wich they had met two years ago to sing on party.
The only problem is my humongous headache and the fact that im at work with it:).
Peace
