The show was too short and the sound was horrible (I think Norwood believes he plays in a death metal band). A little bit desapointed by my 4th Fishbone Show...
Set list (as i can remember):
1-ja ja on the telephone
2-Party
3-Ma & Pa
4-Karma Tsunami
5-Premadawnutt
6-Dre's Toasting
7-Freddie's Dead
8-Sunless Saturday
9-Hide
10-Alcoholic
11-The Suffering
12-Servitude
Fishbone definitely is best experienced in clubs. Nonetheless, they really set the field on fire. Most of the attendance (3500) were Fishbone virgins and definitely were mesmerized by the performance.
Dre had to take over Angelo's role a bit since his knee problems resurfaced just the day before, but nobody could tell that a french doctor tried to not let him on stage (or something like that).
Even though there were some sound problems at the beginning, Fishbone's sound is massive. The horns section really add a lot to the grooves and Curtiss mixed well with the band. As you can see on the photos, everyone was having a lot of fun, either on stage and on the field.
The setlist was well crafted to reach new audiences, now i just wish that there was a little more rotation on the songs. This band has almost been together what, 18 months? and they're just down to 25 or so songs in rotation. SOme good surprises, but there's so much great material in the back catalogue that this lineup could do great justice to...
A great Thanks to Laurent from Terre A Ter who is making these shows happen. i never would have expected a few years back to be able to see Fishbone 4 times in a year...

Yes, i agree the sound was not very great, but that was the first time i saw you guys, and not the last for sure!
i fell in love with you for sure, you're so great and cool musicians (sorry, i don't like to do the ass-kisser, but i really think that) and Angelo has such a schizophrenic sense of humour!Waoh!a big night!
