After the Malestroit show with Angelo kinda sleepy,
I was a bit afraid to see Naswam (Norwood All Stars With Angelo Moore) once again. And well
Fishbone said to me: Have No Fear FB Soldier!;0)
For that was FISHBONE that I saw and not naswam (I
did think from the last 2 gigs I saw with the new guys before this Louvign? show that it was Naswam indeed). They had their high positive energy back and really played in a Fishbone way. Even Face Plant that I didn't like before, from the live recordings I've listened to and from the gigs I've attended, was good. Hell boy I was singing this tune too like a crazy idiot ;0) The band has to be real tight for that song to be top notch and they were ;0)))))

Angelo was in the pit on the first song and a lot of times during the gig. All of them had fun on stage and I got my share of it too.
I was kind of disappointed since Walt and Spacey's departure and didn't find that FB's crazyness anymore with the new guys except on a few songs. But there I can tell you Fishbooone's back and that's good news. I would rate this show within one of my best FB show.

Some news I got from the kind Laurent (Wolfunkind and Ter ? Terre) a dvd (that's right) will be released in June 2006 (if everything works fine) and is to be shot in the states, so to all you in the states make some noise in the pit for that dvd.

third time I see fishbone this year (Orleans and le mans in the beginin of the yeark).
It was not the best, but a good show.
In first I was very sad to not see Torrel for a second guitar. Fishbone with only one guitar it was a little insipid, especially when they play a lot of ska-reggae. Rocky was a very good player, but he's better when it's hard.
In second, No Dre Holmes. very sad to not see him because he was my favorite new menber: he give a lot of fun and he play very well. Mr. Curtiss Storey was very good to, but a little more calm.
In third they play only 12 song, without any come back a the end, du to the organisation of the festival.

exept this, it was a very good show, with a lot of energy, with improvisation...etc.

Fishbone was here, and that's very good!!

aller, en francais maintenant, ca sera plus facile.

c'est donc la 3è fois cette année que j'allais voir le plus grand groupe live du monde (en restant objectif). (orleans et le mans cette année, et taverny ya de ca 3 ans je crois)

malheureusement ca n'était pas le meilleir, dommage.
en 1 j'ai été très décu de ne pas voir torrel. la il y avait rocky, et meme si il est vraiment pas mancho, je trouve qu'il est vraiment a l'aise en bourrin, pour la partie ska-reggae-funk torrel apporte vraiment beaucoup plus.
en 2 yavais pas non plus Dre Holmes a la trompette. dommage car c'est un des nouveau membre qui apporte le plus, il est carré dans ses aprties cuivre et apporte beaucoup de fun a cette nouvelle formation. Curtiss Storey s'en est tout de meme très très bien sortis, mais il n'était pas encore asser a l'aise pour deconner a fond en jouant.
3 point: ils n'ont pas joué asser longtemps a cause des horraires du festoche. 12 chansons et puis s'en vont sans rappel je suis vraiment resté sur ma fin, meme si les morceaux étaient des versions pas mal rallongé.

a part ca c'était quand meme un putain de concert, des impros, des delires, un angelo très en forme, et un norwood energique (enfin presque...)
d'ailleur j'ai pas compris ce qu'il se passait avec la warwick FNA a norwood, il a souvent changé pour une gibson 5 cordes.
probleme avec la basse?? envi de changer de son??
en tout cas pour le slap, la gibson était au fraise, avec un son tout pourri et asser plat.
par contre pour les chanson pas mal calme les basses étaient mieux definis.
