Since Fishbone does not play in Dallas anymore, and who could blame them, I always have to travel to Austin and Houston to see them. The show was well worth my 4 hour drive down and four hours back getting home at six a.m. only to hurry to work. The sound at Emo's sucks but that did not take away from the full throttle, high energy show that Fishbone is notorious for. The set, which I can't remember all songs or even order kicked major A**. I have been following the band since 1991 and am never dissappointed. De Andre did some stage diving and got off in the pit only to get a fat lip and his hat taken. It is hard for me to say how energetic the rest of the crowd was since Fishbone moves my soul and forces my body to dance wildly throughout the whole show, but everybody seemed into it. I know that I thought it was awsome and already can't wait to see them again. I can only hope to see them on their home turf one day. If you try you will catch on.
