I had a great evening there with Oscar. But then again... who wouldn't ? ;/)
I think this was the first time Fishbone performed at an open-air festival inside Paris. The place was packed! There was possibly twice more people attending that show than the ones they usually perform at indoor venues....Their promoters should seriously think about renewing the experience. Inside the parisian crowd, I've heard several people over 40 years old mentioning they hadn't seen the band perform for 20 years. I felt so happy about it. When they appeared on stage, a lady behind me said abruptly "Oh, God! They've changed!" Two hours later, the "demoiselle" could only but thank that same God the music hasn't. Glaz'art-La Plage Festival was a set every Parisian Fishbone soldier could possibily dream of to attend. What in winter usually looks like a dreadful parking lot at the close suburbia of Paris became this summer a sandy beach with bamboo trees, open bar, pizzeria and a small intimate stage delivering the best music God ever made. To last.

Perfect show! long chats with Walt, Jay and Stef (merchandising) before the show. Nice exterior venue --) no pain in my hears the next day! Great crowd, organizers didn't bother the band about finishing at 10 sharp....
NEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW song played (got a hint from Jay but I couldn't believe it nevertheless!) JB your lobbying finally paid :-)
Nice chats with Dre and Wet Daddy after the show, Perfect evening! too bad no encores but I was exausted anyways :-) Fishbone is more red hot than ever!
