First time i got to see Fishbone since Dowd returned to the band. His energy made songs I've seen a million times, Party, Alcoholic, Skankin, sound fresh.
The stage was tight and didn't really allow them the room to exert their energy physically but they still managed a great vibe. Fishbone opened for Parliament and to be honest i bolted as soon as Fishbone left the stage. I did manage to holla at Dirty Walt as i was driving away and saw him exit the venue. He hollered back! Great show and i plan on seeing them again in a few months when they return. I am hoping to see some Everyday Sunshine played with Chris sharing those vocal duties
