i made it to the chicago show. none of my friends felt like going though so i went by myself. then one of my old teachers, who's kinda a mentor to me showed up! Well from hi s point of view he wasn't too impressed with blowfly, but he did stay for a few dr. madd vibe poems, which he really liked. but he's kinda old and it was a school night so he left. oh yeah and i got to see jeff, dave, and keisha again and got to meet tina and debbie for the first time.
Fishbone played for about 2 hours. i liked it when keisha got up on stage and sang along. I really love their new stuff too. i can't remember which song i'm thinking of but it was the one that was really heavy metal sounding but really slow but then it would go to a reggae beat, and back...(sorry i'm bad at describing music) anyways i liked that one alot.
I think that show was pretty exciting even though i had to take it easy and just kinda stand there. it was fun to be able to just watch, and it was one of the best shows i have seen (but i've only seen them 4 t imes). when i got home i took a shot of nyquil but still couldn't fall asleep, ended up skipping one of my classes. blah i'm still recovering from my cold though.
anyways hope the rest of you have fun at your concerts!
love,
mindy
Chicago may have been the best show I have ever seen in my life. (Then again I was in my own world). The place was empty (which was previously packed on 7/3) so that was disappointing but the club in Ann Arbor was packed.

KCholly was in rare form dancing on stage. Angelo kept trying to get me to sing so that I would stand still and not fall off the stage from dancing like a mad woman.
I love Fishbone. Number 71 and 72 this weekend.
I met a bunch of folks from the list which is always great. See you at the next get together.
